Homework

Students will be responsible for completing and turning in assigned homework on time, which will be explained and discussed in class. Students will be given time each Monday to record the week's homework in their planner. The homework schedule will also be posted online so that both students and parents will have consistent access to assignments. Previous weeks' homework schedules will remain posted as well. Absent students will be given an extra day to complete and submit homework. Parents should sign students' homework planners each night to verify that they have seen their student's homework and to verify their student's required silent reading time. Four missing homework assignments will result in a detention. Certain tasks throughout the year may also count for homework (i.e. turning in signed report cards, bringing back weekly work folders on Monday, turning in other signed forms etc.)
